Program Overview
Type 2 Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease is one of six programs offered in the Diabetes Simplified Series. The Diabetes Simplified series aims to provide practical approaches to diabetes care that practitioners can immediately implement in their practices, based on the Diabetes Canada Clinical Practice Guidelines.
This eLearning reviews the guideline recommendations for management of type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with a focus on initiating guideline recommended therapy in people with type 2 diabetes and CKD.

Faculty
Dr. Daniel Ngui, BSc (P.T), MD, CFPC, FCFP
Dr. Daniel Ngui is a family physician and medical director for an interdisciplinary group practice at Fraser Street Medical in South Vancouver. He is a clinical professor with the UBC Dept of Family Medicine involved in teaching residents/NP trainees and IMGs. He is interested in knowledge translation of guidelines and is involved in developing primary care educational programs at the local, regional and national level.
